How we work together, from quote to packdown.

These terms apply to all bookings made with Sundaze Edit ("we", "us", "our"). When you pay your booking deposit, you confirm that you've read and agree to these terms.
All quotes are valid for 14 days. Your booking is confirmed once we receive your signed quote and deposit. Until both are received, your event date remains available to others.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your date. The balance is due 14 days before your event. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account details listed on your invoice.
If you need to cancel:
If you need to move your date, we'll do our best to accommodate, subject to availability. Reschedule requests made more than 14 days before the event can usually be moved with no fee. Within 14 days, a $150 rescheduling fee applies.
In the unlikely event we need to cancel due to circumstances within our control, we'll provide a full refund (including the deposit) and help you find an alternative supplier where possible.
Outdoor events are subject to weather. If the forecast looks unsafe (heavy rain, extreme heat, storms, or unsafe winds), we'll work with you to either reschedule to a new date or move the setup to a suitable indoor or covered location at no extra cost. If neither is possible, our standard cancellation terms apply.
We are not liable for events affected by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, public health restrictions, fire bans or council closures.
Travel within 20 km of Maroochydore is included in our pricing. Beyond that, a travel fee of $1.50 per km (one way) applies. Events more than 100 km from Maroochydore may incur additional time or accommodation costs, quoted on enquiry.
For destination events outside South-East Queensland, please contact us directly to discuss.
You're responsible for ensuring we have safe and timely access to the setup location. If access is delayed or restricted on the day, we may not be able to deliver the full setup as agreed. Any council, venue or permit fees are the responsibility of the client unless agreed otherwise in writing.
All styling items (tableware, glassware, linen, cushions, signage, props, neon signs, etc.) remain the property of Sundaze Edit. A refundable bond of $200 may apply for setups including specialty items such as neon signs.
If hire items are damaged, lost or stolen during your event, replacement costs will be charged at retail value. Reasonable wear and tear is expected and not chargeable.
We may take photos and short videos of the styled setup before guests arrive, and share them on our website and social media for portfolio purposes. We do not photograph guests without permission. If you would prefer your event was not shared, let us know in writing before the date and we'll respect that.
We take care setting up every event, but Sundaze Edit is not liable for injury, illness or property damage caused by third parties, guests, weather, or factors outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests during your event.
Our maximum liability under any booking is limited to the total amount you have paid us for that booking.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version in effect on the date you paid your deposit.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Queensland.
